Residents Protest in Noida’s Gaur City: Despite Maintenance Charges, Cleanliness and Security Are Missing

top-news

Residents of Gaur City, Greater Noida West, protested against the poor conditions in their society. Hundreds of residents raised their voices against the builder and the Greater Noida Authority.

The society charges ₹2000 to ₹3500 per month as maintenance fees, but residents claim that basic facilities are still lacking. Garbage piles can be seen in multiple locations.

The NGT (National Green Tribunal) had instructed the authorities to act on the Gaur application within a week and ensure cleanliness, but neither the Greater Noida Authority nor the builder has taken action despite multiple complaints.

The stray dog problem is also severe, with dogs roaming every floor, causing fear among residents. The accumulation of waste and filth is increasing health risks, and even the basement is filled with garbage.

Residents allege that neither the authorities nor the administration are taking concrete steps. They have warned that if a solution is not provided soon, they will stage a large-scale protest.
